Chronic pain and arthritis can be very debilitating. It can disrupt ones daily life and reduce ones ability to enjoy life's pleasures. Most chronic pain conditions or arthritis can be caused by a variety of factors such as: heredity, structural problems, trauma, toxic overload, other physical conditions and imbalanced / insufficient quantities of key nutrients in the diet. Often the only treatments commonly recommended are prescription drugs, over-the-counter pain relief medications, and exercise. Diets are often ignored.
However, there are several major dietary modifications that people with all types of arthritis and other chronic pain conditions have found to be very beneficial in reducing pain and inflammation, which are the two main symptoms people experience. In this fun and informative class, we will discuss how you can help manage chronic pain and arthritis through nutritional interventions.
