Acid Reflux/GERD Quick Start Guide
There are several extremely important dietary and lifestyle factors that directly influence acid reflux – chewing and hydration are amongst the most important.
The first thing you have to do is chew your food until it is a liquid; this usually means you need to chew your food at LEAST 30 times before swallowing.
The next is getting you adequately hydrated; start with drinking 4 oz. of water (1/2 cup) every 30 minutes during the day. Stop drinking a couple hours before bedtime so you aren’t up all night going to the bathroom. In addition, drink minimal liquids with meals so you don’t dilute your digestive juices.
If this doesn’t bring you relief, use the following:
Zinlori 75 - take 2 tablets twice daily on an empty stomach for 2 weeks, and then decrease to 1 tablet twice daily ongoing.
Ulcinex - take 2 tablets 20 minutes before eating (ideally) and anytime you experience heartburn.
Ortho Biotic - take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily on an empty stomach; can be taken with Zinlori 75
