GI Disorders - Improper Digestion: Learn More
Finishing what You've Started
Improper digestion can be due to many factors including not chewing your food adequately, poor stomach acid production, poor pancreatic enzyme or bile production (or removal of the gallbladder), inflammation in gastrointestinal tract, dehydration, food allergies or intolerances and/or flora (intestinal bacteria) imbalances.
How you alleviate improper digestion obviously depends upon why you have it in the first place. As always, we want to start with the simple things and utilize more complex measures only if necessary. See our What You Can Do section for information on how to digest your food more optimally. |
